As its name suggests, Forest Hills is a tranquil, residential neighborhood with lush greenery. Located in D.C.’s Northwest quadrant, the area offers generous parcels where residences present a variety of architectural styles and sizes ranging from elegant early-20th-century estates to stunning contemporary residences. Stylish condominiums may be found along Connecticut Avenue.

In addition, ambassadorial residences and embassies may be found in Forest Hills alongside educational institutions such as Howard University School of Law and the Levine School of Music. Forest Hills is convenient to Metro with the Red Line station at Van Ness-U.D.C. Connecticut Avenue is a vibrant high street where restaurants and local commerce may be found. Soapstone Valley Park is located in the heart of the community and connects to Rock Creek Park, which forms the eastern boundary of the community.
